Special features of SMAS (Special Marketing Assistance Scheme) for growth and upliftment of MSMEs

Organizing exhibitions abroad.


Daily allowances

100% fare of economy class to 1 representative belonging to SC/ST.

The daily allowances are doubled and give by the ministry.

Participating ST/SC enterprises are given 1.50 Lac per event.


Participation in international exhibitions.

100% subsidy on minimum stall size.

Rs. 30000/- max

Micro ST/SC enterprise -Rs.3Lac

Small ST/SC enterprise – Rs.2.5Lac

Medium ST/SC enterprise-Rs.1.50 Lac

The ministry bears the entire transportation cost of one person.

Workshops/ Seminars/ Awareness Campaigns

To be organized by Industry Association/ Field Offices of NSIC, MSME DI

Expenditure for organizing Workshop/Seminars would be subject to a maximum limit of: -

National level: Rs.5 Lacs State / regional level



  • Banks sanctions about Rs.1.20 lakh crore loans to MSMEs under the credit guarantee scheme.

  • MSME department launches the 'Champion State Control Room' to assist MSMEs.

  • Banks sanction Rs.1.14 lakh crore to MSMEs under the Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.

  • Andhra Pradesh CM disburses ₹513 crores to MSMEs Restart scheme.

  • Banks disburse over Rs.50,000 crore loans to MSMEs under ECLGS.

  • Khattar assures support to entrepreneurs for setting up MSME units.
